Electrical problems do not always wait for office hours. When you need an emergency electrician in the North East, EPM Electrical provides out-of-hours attendance and emergency call-outs for urgent faults across the region.

What Counts as an Electrical Emergency?

Contact us urgently if you experience:

  • Complete or partial power loss
  • Burning smells, scorch marks or overheating sockets
  • Sparking accessories or exposed live parts
  • Flood-related electrical damage
  • Commercial downtime caused by an electrical fault

If you smell burning or suspect fire risk, leave the property if unsafe and contact the emergency services first.

Our Response Approach

  1. Triage the call so we understand the risk and site access
  2. Isolate and make safe on arrival where required
  3. Diagnose the fault using proper test equipment
  4. Restore power or implement a temporary safe solution
  5. Recommend permanent remedial works with clear next steps

Coverage and Hours

Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Outside those times we offer out-of-hours support and emergency call-outs across the North East, including North Tyneside and Newcastle.

For multi-site commercial clients and national partners with contracts up and down the country, emergency response can also form part of a wider service agreement.

Do Not DIY Dangerous Faults

Live electrical work without the right competence and equipment is hazardous. A qualified electrician protects both people and property.
